The Avery facility, designed by former Jack Nicklaus design team member Andy Raugust, has consistently been ranked as one of the top golf courses in Austin. Avid Golfer Magazine named Avery Ranch Golf Club its "Best Overall Course" in Austin in 2004 and 2005. "Avery Ranch is Austin's premier daily fee facility and we are honored to be selected by the ownership of the golf course to manage the facility," notes Steve Harker, CEO of Touchstone Golf. "The golf course and amenities are already exceptional, but we hope to bring additional sales and marketing resources to build on the success of the golf course." The Avery Ranch facility includes exceptional practice facilities, a full service restaurant (the Sunset Grill), banquet facilities and the ability to host golf and social events up to 250 people. The Avery Ranch complex has hosted a wide variety of golf tournaments, corporate and charity outings, including Dennis Quaid's annual fundraiser and has become a popular destination for weddings. Touchstone intends to focus its efforts on improving the overall customer experience at Avery while maintaining Austin's best golf course conditioning. The growth of the North Austin market, including the highly successful Avery Ranch residential development, will continue to fuel the growth of the facility. Touchstone Golf, LLC provides comprehensive management and targeted consulting resources for the golf course industry. The Company was formed in early 2005 and currently provides full services management for three facilities, Avery Ranch Golf Club (Austin, Texas), Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course (El Paso, Texas) and Lake Shastina Resort and Golf Club (Weed, California).
