The Lake Chabot facility sits high on the hills of Oakland overlooking the San Francisco Bay. "Lake Chabot is a longtime favorite venue for Bay Area golfers and a tremendous asset for the citizens of Oakland," according to Steve Harker, CEO of Touchstone Golf. "It is a great honor for us to be part of the restoration and re-opening of the golf course for the benefit of all golfers in the area." Lake Chabot's grand opening took place in early April on The Masters weekend and drew immediate rave reviews. The golf course includes a regulation 18 hole facility and also a junior par-3 course that is a favorite for golfers of all abilities. Touchstone intends to focus its efforts on regaining the loyalty of area players that once made the golf course among the busiest in the Bay Area. Touchstone Golf, LLC provides comprehensive management and targeted consulting resources for the golf course industry. The Company was formed in early 2005 and currently provides full services management for three facilities, Avery Ranch Golf Club (Austin, Texas), Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course (El Paso, Texas) and Lake Shastina Resort and Golf Club (Weed, California).
